Part foot stool, part chair, part just because decor... the Moroccan pouf does it all. Mainly adding functional pizzazz to interiors everywhere lately they come in just about every color under the sun including metallics.
While they cost a pretty penny despite their relatively small size I have spotted them at Home Goods before and found this DIY version. The reviews say it is easy, so if you're feeling crafty have at it and let me know how it goes.

Modern Cowgirl
Cowhide rugs- I'm obsessed! But before you judge, it's not what you think. The look is so far from the wild west you won't hear a "yeehaw" or see a me in a cowgirl hat. Cowhides have been styled in interiors with modern furniture for a chic look.
One of my favorite things about cowhide rugs is that they're neutral colors allow them to be in incorporated into all sorts of spaces but their unique cutout shape allows them to standout for ultimate impact. How do I like my cowhide, you ask? Faux, of course but also layered. Perhaps layered upon another colored cowhide or a rectangular solid tan rug for some juxtaposition.

Lemon Lime
You know how you go through your clothes every season? I think the same should be done with your decor. Now I'm not saying go out and buy a new couch or dining room set every season. I simply mean spruce things up, out with the old, in with the new.
A simple swap of cold weather pillows for warm weather pillows will do. For summer I'm loving lemon lime hues. They're so fresh and cheerful. They even look nicely paired together. It's all about simple changes to inspire and continue to style.

Old School Charm
Lurking on every table and shelf in well decorated homes on my Pinterest boards I find ginger jars. I'm sure you've seen them too, those blue and white sort of floral designed jars and vases. They are such classic pieces to give the impression your great- great- great grandmother passed them down to you. Surprisingly though you can find them quite cheap. What I love most about these little accents is they mix quite well with other patterns and styles.
Obsessed now too? Good let's get shopping!

Let's Get Organized
In the store today we they are taking care of inventory, the process kind of reminds me of spring cleaning. Seeing what you have, what you don't have and making room for new inventory. They even busted out the vacuum, much to Harley's dismay! All this hustle and bustle leaves me thinking of my own mess of a closet. Time to head to The Container Store and buckle down and get organized for spring collections! Here's my checklist:
1- clear shoe containers to ensure you don't forget about those stunning pumps from last year
2- thin velvet hangers so your clothes won't slip but you can still pack 'em in
3- garment rack for when your clothes overflow their space
4- pantry rack a personal secret solution of mine, I put it on the back of my closet door to hold sunglasses, extra curling irons, clutches, hairspray... you name it
5- boot shapers because nothing annoys me as much as my expensive leather boots folding over and creasing

Etsy Finds
Like many others I too have grown quite an obsession for the popular site Etsy. It's like antiquing but without the weird smells, awkward sellers and the stuff is actually new (often times). I'm fascinated with the unique home decor that makes designing on a budget somewhat easy... and allows me to spend that much more money on fashion! Plus their accessories always unique.

Working It
I don't know about you but when my surroundings are a mess, I'm a mess. I like my room, closet, and office to be all on the same organized May Books page. I've been looking for some home office inspiration and stumbled upon this little slice of workspace heaven. I just love the way it mixes rustic with some glam elements. It makes work seem welcoming instead of severe.
I decided if I recreated this space it would actually be quite easy, here's my version:

Throwing It Out There
I don't know what inspired me to make a post about throw blankets... oh wait, I do. It just has been so cold, damp and dreary lately. I can't help but dreaming of being curled up in a chic throw watching old episodes of SATC or reading a good book. I think any of these throws would fit the job description, don't you?

The Untraditional Wreath
Nothing says holiday season like a traditional wreath. After all, it's often the first thing people see even prior to entering a home. While they've been around for eons I've lately been seeing some fresh new versions and lots of DIYs. So channel your inner Martha (pre court, of course) and get crafty!
Have you seen any other fabulous wreaths?
